So glad I found you!! Anyone live near Silicon Valley?

5 weeks on raw food!! While in bed with a virus I began to read an

old book from 1936-Nature the Healer -by Dr. John L Richter. I had

read it before but this time, I had an epiphany. Seeing cooked &

packaged food for the poison it was, I became repulsed at the smell

of cooked food. Alcohol is not tolerated nor is it desired by me.

The Earth calls for me to find a place not smothered by cement or

blacktop, to remove my shoes and plant my feet on her. The sun calls

for me to remove my clothes to receive his rays.My body craves to

move.

 

I bathe with epson salts & only occasionally use soap (vegetable

glycerin with honey). After a warm soak and a full body dry loofah

scrub, I rinse with cool water then towel dry. A fresh lemon is cut

in half & used all over the body. It is not at all drying. The

germicidal effect stings a little at first, then it feels so good. I

crave fresh lemons!

 

The benefits I am receiving: increased tolerance of cold,a glowing

RADIANT LOOK (so everyone tells me), WEIGHT LOSS (from 147lbs to 131

so far), greater PHYSICAL ENDURANCE and more!

 

The detoxifying symptoms hit about 2 weeks ago. Little rashes & a

few pimples. A couple of nights agao I ate 2 cooked corn chips.

Within 5 minutes I had to run to the bathroom to empty my bowels. I

shall not touch that poison again!

 

The only other raw fooder I know is a friend who converted to raw

foods 1 week after I did, but he is currently studying in San Luis

Obispo. We talk frequently, but I'b really like to meet local people

in the Bay Area.

 

I have a before " a natural " photo of myself before starting raw

foods on my profile.I am new to computers so it may be a while

before I get a new pic on my profile, but a before & after will be

interesting.
