Guest guest
My doctor said I had a blood pressure of 270 and I could die anytime and that I should be in hospital. I know what that would mean: I would be stuffed full of drugs for the rest of my life. So desperate circumstances require desperate measures. Fortunatly I have been eating fruit and vegetables for a while now and most importantly I have recently given up coffee and gone through the withdrawal symptoms. So I am partly prepared for this water fast although I expect opposition from my doctor. To-day is the second day of my water fast and I feel OK. I have no major withdrawal symptoms. I think this is because I am not coming off coffee. I am mentally alert, indeed, I have just finished writing a poem that I enjoyed. I am physically slower. I have no craving for food. And as Peter said it is warm outside. I am drinking water all through the day. I plan to do a nine day fast and come off by drinking raw vegetable juice for two days, then fruit juice then raw fruit and vegetables. I will let you know how I go. I am lucky in that I know about water fasting and blood pressure and that I am partly prepared, I think particularly being caffeine free. And I am lucky to have you to share this fast with. Victor. Guest guest
Victor4, In the bad old days I used to drink 20 cups of coffee in a day. Coffee is bad news for your health. If you keep it going make sure it is in drastically reduced doses. Nine days it quite long to start. Good luck anyway andlet us know how you get on.
