Guest guest
Dear Arthur: I am again wanting to go back on rejuvelac. I tried Kefir for a little while, but I seemed to mess that up. I have reread your article and don't know why I never asked you: What is the scuttle-butt about Brian Clement vs. the Ann Wigmore legacy in some raw food circles? I would really like to know more about that because it could help me decide what to do. I also am wondering if there is, in fact, any danger, if adding a little colloidal silver might help that situation (of course that would only make sense if someone believes in colloidal silver in the first place, which I do). I really LIKED the rejuvelac, but I don't know if it was real or a placebo. Obviously it only makes sense if it is in fact good for you. I wrote to several people about Brian Clement's article. He responded but did not answer the SPECIFIC question I asked. I wrote to the Ann Wigmore people twice, but they never answered. A couple of other people answered and they seemed to prefer other things. A portion of the letter I wrote to Hippocrates was: " I was wondering if you could tell me if the submitted Rejuvelac was made with wheatberries that had been cleaned 2-3 times a day or with those that were not cleaned for 2 days (as some of Ann Wigmore's books say). I have seen different recipes by her and also by other people; other people usually say to rinse the sprouts. " I furthermore asked the question someone had suggested: Could Brian have added probiotics and then resubmitted for testing???? Below is his answer, which really does not ANSWER my questions: " Rejuvelac has not been a part of the Hippocrates diet for a decade and a half. You should substitute healthy pro-biotics such as Master Flora and a wide variety of multi-bacterias available in Health stores. All recipes calling for Rejuvelac you should substitute pure water. We found Rejuvelac often contains unhealhy bacteria. Be well. Brian Clement, Director " Thanks!
