I posted a message here yesterday about my first week on a raw diet

(90-100%). I said that I would have one day per week when I could eat

a meal of my choice from my prior diet, to make cravings during the

transition-period easier/less, because I believe that one shouldn't

feel restricted from anything, it should be about choice and fun, to

eat raw.

Guess what, I ate some " lompe " (Norwegian kind of round, soft bread

of potatoes) with a sausage yesterday (I ate meat right up till two

weeks ago), and I immediately threw up (sausage with lompe, ketchup

and mustard and some raw onion sprinkled on top is what I had, it is

the most eaten fast-food here -I guess you can compare it with a

hamburger or hot dog in the US). The food made me feel absolutely

horrible, and the taste was sickening (in fact, it didn't really

taste anything). I guess I no longer wonder at all -I will never

again go back to how I used to eat! Even my husband, who is a big

meat eater and addicted to coca-cola, is now trying out an all raw

diet with me! I guess the changes in me is too obvious for him to not

be convinced of the fact that this is the right thing. It is a

mystery to me how everything in my body has adapted so easily though,

even my tastebuds. No way do I believe that this is just in my mind,

that I am " brainwashed " to feel like this, because I have never felt

more down to earth than right now.

Thank all of you again for interesting messages here.
