Wow.. now this really gives me something to think about.. I was all set to buy an Ejuva kit and do the cleanse sometime next year. I found it for a really reasonable price on eBay (reg. $325, $199 on eBay). Fortunately, I have not purchased it yet. What about all those reports of people getting out massive quantities of stuff, though? --Art
Guest guest
Hi Folks, Thought you might find this question and Dr. Grahams answer interesting. He's also against colonics for similar reasons. Roger +++++++++++++++++++++++ jmaroon (43.176.68.64.host.nrctv.com) ejuva again and more . . . December 17, 2002 at 9:19 am PST Thanks for responding on Ejuva. I am wondering then if going just 100% raw will eventually expell the excess accumulation on the intestine wall that I'm assuming is there. I'm 41, have been vegan for 6 years with only about 10-15% cooked. We have been going mostly raw this year - all raw the past month due to colon trouble and a itchy hand rash that will not go away, and hasn't for years. I had heard that Ejuva or similar cleanses will speed up the process of getting rid of the built up gunk or help if there are on going problems that will not go away. Will this just take time if we stay all raw, and will I be cured of this eventually? What harm could the Ejuva do? Any suggestions would be welcome!! +++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dr. Doug Graham (DrGraham.vegsource.com) Re: ejuva again and more . . . The lining of the colon is similar to the lining of the mouth, do you have any build up there? Ejuva can do great harm. The irritation it creates can lacerate and otherwise damage the delicate intestinal and colon membranes, resulting in inflammation and compromised nutrition. Ejuva can upset intestinal flora and fauna balances, resulting in poor digestion and elimination that can go on for months, and sometimes years, after taking this or similar cleanses. I have had many patients who NEVER REGAINED THEIR VIGOR after taking such a cleanse. DR D
