Guest guest
Hi Keemosabe, " It took reading half the letter before I realized this isn't a joke. Let's hope any poisons you might end up using are reserved for the bugs, not your mom and dad's sisters ;^) " Yes, that spelling mistake plus my personification of the ants did turn it into a joke, a good one on me! but I am for real. Thanks for taking me seriously " I used 50:50 on my poison ivy. " Did Bronners kill the plants? Actually I don't know where the many ant hills are. I have a small tropical plant business. The ants are probably under my many plant pots. I did get 2 items from another e-group that seemed like I could depend on the ants finding and taking back to the nest. But for either idea I will have to invent a dry place as we had a 100 year drought over last 3 years and it is now 'catching up'! We're getting 3 to 6 inches many days! In case you need these ant begon-ers here they are: 1--- " Mixed 1 part white sugar and 3 parts Baking Soda - They loved it, and carry the white crystals home to share. You see, ants, unlike humans have a body ph that is acidic. Quite acidic, so when they eat the baking soda, they kind of fizz up like the old vinegar and BS trick. Very sad, but it gets rid of them without hurting you or your family. " 2---Since you are in the south use the simplest thing you can. Dry grits! Sprinkle them when it isn't raining and when the lil ant's come running over to eat it they will die after they drink water. No poision at all. Plain old cinnamon works too. ===== Dog Letters: 1.Dear God, How come people love to smell flowers, but seldom smell one another? Where are their priorities? 2.Dear God, When we get to Heaven, can we sit on your couch? Or is it the same old story? Finance - Get real-time stock quotes http://finance.
