Getting rid of worms

Hi Alicia,

Best Vermifuge for Worms - for people or pets - that I

know of is garlic -- raw that is.

I always give my pets from 1/2 to 1 clove of raw

garlic per day. When they smell the garlic, they come

running.

To keep raw garlic from burning their throats , I chop

xtra fine or put it through a hand-held garlic press

and put it inside a small ball of peanut butter. I

take advantage of my dogs gulp reflex, by having 2

balls ready. The garlic one is given first and before

they can chew it, I offer the second one. They gulp

first one to accept second one. Haven't had cats

lately.

The less preferred, but other way is to push it down

their throats, like a pill. I use the peanut butter

method for pills, too.

The only time my dog had worms in 15 years, was when a

friend took care of her while we were gone several

months. When we came back she had 2 kinds of worms +

sarcoptic mange!

I don't know how long it would take, but they won't

stay. Also she never not heart worms either with the

garlic; even in FL climate.

There is a group for health minded pet owners:

Good luck,

Roberta

Getting rid of worms

I am trying to help a lady who has a pregnant female

with worms. I have had good experience keeping my dogs

from getting worms by giving them raw pumpkin seeds.

How long would it take to get rid of worms doing the

same? Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Alicia
