Hi All:

There is another substitute called Roma. Available in most health food

stores. Approx $6 for a 16 oz jar. One teaspoon per cup. It is Malt barley

plus. Not bad.

Thanks for all the wonderful advice and suggestions to

help me with my coffee addiction!!! I quit for nine

months once, when I was pregnant, and last year during

Lent (even though I'm not Catholic), so I know I CAN

do it, I just have to want to :)

Wow! What a simple, affordable and (sounds like)

effective alternative to coffee. Thank you for the

idea. I have to say: I went out and bought some

Teecchino. The taste was odd. The price was high and I

think--though the can and website claim it is

gluten-free--it adversely affected me. (Grrrr!)

I went back to coffee, just less of it. And now I will

try hot water! Thanks again.-Mary
