Hi Sharon,

If you will look at previous posts, I've mentioned the importance of amino

acids. If there is a deficiency in amino acids, there may be problems with

emotions. We don't need alot of protein to be healthy, in fact alot of protein

is damaging to the body. I don't know if I've helped at all. I hope I have.

Hi Marlene :)

I will go check out those posts now. One thing that made me wonder,

though is that one of the women whom I've seen have emotional problems

does eat meat....but when she goes light on it or maybe skips the meat

and just has cheese, I've seen her have problems... I thought that meat

and dairy have high amounts of all of the essential amino acids (aka

complete protein) so this made it appear that a higher quantity of

protein was needed.

I guess the test would be for me to eat less protein, but a bigger

variety of vegetable protein sources and see what happens.

Regards,

Sharon

Yes, meat does have all the essential amino acids in them. I still eat alittle

meat, but mostly beans and beans don't even have all the amino acids we need. I

grew up on a farm and have not been able to stay away from meat yet and am not

sure I want to. I do love the way raw food makes me feel. I believe there are

liquid amino acids available and I wonder how many of the amino acids are in

that product?
