Guest guest
Just been watching a BBC cooking programme which you might think strange for a person who puts his tongue in his cheek when he reads of complex recipes to titilate the taste buds on the raw foodists forum. Do animals run around mixing ingredients? Does the gut rejoice in having to process all nature's flavours jumbled into a stoge?

On this BBC cooking programme, there were two candidates chosen from their presenters who both had alergies to wheat! Thus two cooks were left cringing about the poverty of cooking without wheat. It then transpired that a significant proportion of the population suffers from the affliction without knowing it.

If the BBC starts deliberately airing a notion, then it is only a matter of time before mainstream thought follows. They of course have huge media power and they may be fishing for response.

It could be that in their hearts they know there is a story but they just need the substance to build a worthwhile programme.

How should raw foodists respond to such bait?
What is the pitch? What inflection is merited. What helpings should I serve them?

PG
