Guest guest Posted February 25, 2002 Report Share Posted February 25, 2002 Fresh Tomato Salsa<br> <br> Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method<br> -------- ------------ -------------------------<br> 3 medium tomatoes -- peeled and chopped<br> 1/2 cup onion -- finely chopped<br> 1 large green pepper -- chopped<br> 1 jalapeno -- seeded and chopped<br> 2 tablespoons cilantro -- snipped<br> 1/4 teaspoon salt<br> <br> In a small mixing bowl, stir together the tomatoes, onion, green pepper, jalapeno, cilantro, and salt. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.<br> <br> Makes 1 3/4 cups.<br><br>NOTE: I also saw cayenne and garlic mentioned in other recipes, so you might want to add one of these if it's a favorite flavor.
