I think Dr. Robert Atkins " New Diet Revolution "

pointed me in the direction of thinking the above were a

bad mix. Skimming through I am I see he has a chapter

entitled " Insulin the Hormone that Makes You Fat " . Elsewhere I have

read of plaque and insulin being bad mixers. But your

avocado people seem so well informed.. They avocate

avocados as being a device for slowing sugar intake. It

all leaves me confused.<br><br>On the bright side

Supermarkets in Belgium like to sell the avoocados very hard

no doubt for extra shelf life for a dollar a piece.

If I go down to the main vegetable market next to

the abatoir I can get them for 20 cents each or 10

for $2.<br><br>I counsel those who are getting bad

deals from Supermarkets to hunt around.<br><br>Peter
