Guest guest
For the long haul, eating mostly raw for me I find cheaper. I shop at the local Whole Foods and Wild Oats markets and even though organic food is expensive, I do find a vegetable salad cheaper overall than say a frozen $4 dinner that most cooked eaters eat. My mom is a meat eater and doesnt really care what she eats. She buys meat on a regular basis. I know my weekly grocery bills are a lot less than hers. To save money I tend to buy frozen fruit(for the fruit not in season) However, I just learned from a previous post, that frozen fruit is somewhat denatured because the cellular wall is destroyed when freezed. But all is not lost with frozen I feel and I believe that it is far better then anything cooked.

Yes, organic food is expencive at where I shop. I try to limit my spending because I am on a limited budget but sometimes I do spend more than I think with food. However, compared to my meat cooked food eating mom I spend a lot less. Meat is so much more expencive than organic veggies. Im glad I dont eat meat:)
