Alot of people are upset about this new law. However, even prior to this law, many chemicals could be added to organic foods and still have them be legally labeled as being organic.

An orange farmer in California once showed me a list of 10 different chemical pesticides that could be added to oranges in California and still have the oranges be certified as organic under the California law.

These laws apply only to the U.S., i don't know how, or even if, other countries regulate the labeling of organic.

I will look for the list of chemicals that can now be used on organic foods under the new USDA law, i found it once before, and i will post it here when i find it again.

& gt; & gt;
I am not aware of any chemicals on certified organic foods. Please tell us what those chemicals are, if any.
& gt; & gt; Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
