Guest guest
Shortus,
Thanks but no thanks for your reply. I would appreciate it in the future us you saved and conserved your energy for even more cynical and sarcastic endeavors that are more worthy of your truely God given talents.
It makes me so sad to receive and reply such as your when I was only asking for help. But I will show you the respect you seem to have so little giving others by replying back and educating you just a little about who I am and what I have been through.
I have seen what addictions can do...working with bulemics who were so sick they could hardly walk, speaking with anorexics who were on the verge of death, herion addicts who had contrated AIDS, 12 year old gas huffers who have permanently lost their cognative ability. I saw my mother almost die after 45 years of smoking and ballooning to over 260 pounds. SO I am well aware of so as you sow, so shall you reap parable. For me I have, over the last 15 years, given up drugs, alcohol, smoking, animal products
as well as caffine, I strive every day to free my self of any addictive trait, because for me, addiction is not freedom. So here I am with my last and final addiction...cooked and proccessed food and I was asking for help. I dont expect it to be easy. I did the research on detox symptoms and am not looking for the quick fix. I was just looking for input from more experienced raw foods as to recipes, ways of eating, styles of raw food preperation and so forth. So that it might be a more.(Get that word Shortus " More " ) enjoyable experience.
I do admit to my only shortcomming here and that is that my original post sounded whiney, which was not the intention...it was supposed to be more humorous than anything. So I apologize ifI offended you. Thanks for the advice I will listen to my father, to bad we come from different familys...sounds like you are more from the family Nietzsche, who overcompensates their lack of humanity and compassion with cynicism.
Thanks for you time. Guest guest
Wes, try not to be offended by Shortus. He can be rude. He was so rude to me when I first joined this club I stayed away for a long time.
But he isn't worth it. Stick around and get to know the rest of us.
