That is someone that does not do well of the foods that are high on the glycemic index.<br>PROTEINS<br>nuts and seeds(approx. 20% protein)<br>Chorella<br>Spirulina<br>Soy Protein<br>Lentils<br>Beans<br>(In trying to achieve a rawfood diet, I am looking into sprouting beans for the live protein)<br>Klamath Lake blue green algae<br>CARBOHYDRATES<br>All grains(except wheat) <br>Vegetables:<br>Cauliflower<br>Asparagus<br>Artichokes<br>Spinach<br>Carrots<\ br>Celery<br>Avacodos<br>Olives<br>FRUITS <br>Minimal-Low glycimic index fruit:<br>Apples(Esp. granny smith)<br>Peaches, pears, oranges<br>JUICES<br>Carrots(diluted 50%), Beet(dilutedd 50%), all vegetable, minimal fruit<br>FATS<br>Nuts and seeds(approx 80% fat), Olive oil<br>Essential fatty acids:<br>flaxseed oil, pumpkin oil, sesame oil, baorage oil, walnut oil, walnut oil, hempseed oil, sunflower oil.<br>OTHER<br>all herbs and spices, herbal teas(no caffeine), sea salt.<br>Foods to avoid<br>sugar, candy<br>coffee, tea, soft drinks, table salt, wheat, white potatoes, white rice, white flour, dried fruits, grapes, dates, bananas.<br> Hope it helps, Tammy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
