Psychology is also an interest of mine. As you

well know there are many contradicting ideas about

health even within a particular health movement. Many

factors influence how we decide what we think is true. So

I ask all of you in deciding to consider some of my

following points.

-Don't let a desire for something

to be true let you overlook certain things. Your

desire should be to find out how to be as healthy as

possible not to find out that some health ideal ie " 100%

raw vegan is optimum " .

-Other people have seen

all the same infromation you have and have a

different viewpoint. To beleive you are 100% true is

foolish like saying " my deductive reasining skills are

better than everyone else's " .

-Many people seem

to make there conclusions frist then do there

reseach later. ie decide a vegan diet is optimum then

collect data to suggest that not the other way

around.

-Many people cling to particular ideas and ignore

information that contradicts that.

-Testimonies on

websites etc about such things as cancer remissions are

the best out of many. These people paint a picture

that everyone can get results that good but remenber

these are only the best ones and often not the

norm.

-Just because you are 100% sure something is true does

not mean it is. For example many people where 100%

sure 100% raw was optimum for every body and are not

now. Tom Billings has 30 years experience in the world

of raw foods and feels that 100% raw is not optimum

for everyone. It is foolish to think that your

conclusions(ie 100% raw is optimum) based on internet reading

and maybe a few raw books are more valid that all

these other

peoples.

-----------
These things

sound obvious but many people fall pray to

them as I see now I did in the past.

Blake
