Guest guest
Hi almostrawstrictlyvegan,,,

Your body mass index is from 18.33 to 19.17.

Do you weigh too little?? Well other than your BMI you have to consider your natural frame and your body compisiotion.

I am an 18 year old vegan and weigh 132 pounds at 5'11, BMI is 18.18. Rather thin. My body fat % is 6.

A low body fat is optimum but if you lose fat and don't gain muscle you will appear rather thin. while I don't have any more body fat than an olympic swimmer they are much larger than me because they have much more muscle.

People have to expect they will become thin on a raw diet if they don't gain muscle. Another problem is calories. Are you getting adequate calories. Unfortuneately your appetite isn't your best guide to eating enough calories.

Veggies are ~150 claories/pound
Fruit is ~ 300 calories/pound

Weigh what you eat of these and see how much calories you eat. Requirements are over 2000. That's a lot of bulk if your eating mostly fruits and veggies espicially going from a SAD diet or evan a cooked vegan diet.

Hope this helps.
