Dear Galapugust,<br><br>Thank you for your

interesting and thoughtful reply. And I do take you

suggestion seriously that Buddhists start worshipping me.

After all Buddha knew nothing of the genome, DNA and

evolution. He knew nothing of geology and the age of the

earth. he knew nothing of quantum mechanics or

relativity. He didn't even know the periodic table. He knew

nothing of calculus. Even the number zero was unknown to

him. He didn't know what causes the weather. Mental

illness was a complete mystery to him. He knew nothing of

the circulation of the blood or even any anatomy. He

did not know that gems cause disease. He didn't know

the size and shape of the earth. He was ignorant of

the existence of even one galaxy, never mind one

hundred thousand million galaxies. He had no idea how to

create a system of government that would provide freedom

and properity for the citizens. He never read

Shakespeare or listened to Mozart. He never went bushwalking

or caught the perfect wave.<br><br>I could go on and

write an encyclopaedia of what Buddha didn't know.

However let me say Buddha taught the hatred of the human

ego. He was an anti-humanist, this puts him in some

very unsavory company.<br><br>But don't believe me,

arrogant bastard that I am, go to a Buddhist state, Sri

Lanka, and see what they have created, namely a cruel,

brutal unnecessary war for the last 20 years, and the

war still continues, fought for Buddhism.<br><br>Lets

face it: you could do a lot worse than worshipping

me.<br><br>Buddha, as you know, was born from the armpit, I had the

birth of Caesar. So start writing my myth now. You

could be my Paul, my Lenin, Muhummed, my chief Priest.

This might be a wise career move. But it is important
