Chris and Rawvegan, did it ever occur to you guys

that I might raise my own chickens?? Well, I used to

have a few hens for several years but had to give them

to a good home when I moved back into the city....

but.... my brother now has three very HAPPY, HEALTHY,

free roaming, worm eating, dirt scratching, sun

bathing, ever clucking happy hens!

Therefore I am

NOT " participating in the killing of one or more

chickens for eggs " .

My bro has had these birds for

several years and wouldn't think of killing them if they

stopped laying. They're great for keeping down the bug

population in his back yard ;~}

Hey, I wonder if

chickens eat ladybugs. hmmmm....

Chris, yes I eat

the eggs raw, blended in my smoothie. Good stuff,

Maynard!

Hi ya Teri.
I was HOPING that that was going

to be your answer. Yes if that is what people are

doing to get raw eggs that is fine. But I am sure that

most people who eat eggs do not eat eggs from such

happy birds. I commend you Teri.
I was of course

warning people that just because eggs in the shops all

free range they are not totally cruelty free. Yes the

hens are looked after better whilst alive but they

don't usually live beyond egg producing, and that to

have chicken the males are slaughtered for food. What

else would they do with 50% male eggs!?
I do hope

things are OK for you Teri.
Chris
