My periods have actually become more regular

since becoming raw, but its only been a few months, so

may be too soon to tell.

My speculation is

that changing the diet causes the body to go through

stress, thus changing the cycle. Most of the posts I've

read have been from women who have been raw only a few

years. I'd be interested to hear more of long term

experience. Maybe it evens out later?

I don't see

menstration as something unnatural. It's a normal part of a

healthy cycle.

-zibworm

How does one know it's the raw food that stops

menstration? The women I know have also become more regular

from eating raw food.

The only woman I know who

stopped menstrating was exercising very heavily in

college sports. Once she stopped the over activity her

menstration returned.

There might also be a

connection from being TOO THIN. Many of us know that by

eating all raw one can lose a lot of weight very

quickly. Perhaps it is the low body weight that stops

menstration. Once the body loses the excess weight and the

woman continues with the raw diet with proper exercise,

etc. her body will return to normal and menstration

should return without (or with little)

PMS.

-OrionsDad
