Guest guest
Ladybugg,

I have a spot about the size of a quarter on top of my head that I got from being out in the sun too much 20+ years ago. I use to clean a Jersey beach every morning over three summers and now I have the spot as my just “reward”.

Let me know if your spot improves though fasting and raw diet. I use to think if I REALLY got serious about my health I could reverse the skin damage and perhaps undo some gray hairs as well. But now I have my doubts.

Here’s my thoughts.

These skin cells are damaged. They do not function correctly anymore. They may not take in the nutrition from the body properly and excrete their waste properly. The cell’s DNA might be damaged and that means the cells do not reproduce correctly. They now make new cells with the same damaged DNA. Of course I believe diet and healthy living will improve our bodies at the cellular level but once they reach the cancerous stage I'm doubtful there is anything diet can do to correct the situation. The “trick” is to remove the problem before the damage reaches the cancerous stage. Once cancer sets in I’m pessimistic. Now doctors do call these spots “pre-cancerous”. Perhaps they do have enough life in them to correct the situation and return to good health and function if given a chance. Fasting does make sense.

So, I’m saying it’s worth the effort. If you and I are going to get rid of these spots we better make a serious effort at it now rather than later. The chances for success will be better. The longer we wait the closer they get to the cancerous stage at which point I seriously doubt there is anything left for us to do but get surgery.

God help us both.

-OrionsDad
Guest guest
Thanks!!

I was pretty bummed out yesterday about the whole thing but I swear, the spot looks a little better today. It was starting to bleed again over the past few weeks, off and on and that is scary. I knew I had to do something and that's the main reason for the fast. It isn't gone by any means but it doesn't look as nasty as it did a week ago.

You say you have a spot on your head from the sun. What I find confusing, is some of the reading I've done recently about skin cancer and the sun. Some raw food people say the sun does not cause skin cancer. They say the sun no more causes skin cancer than air does lung cancer. hmmmm. So there I went, back into the sun, deliberately sunning my face in hopes of curing this thing!! Now, I don't think that was such a good idea. Have you heard these claims from the raw people? What do you think about it? They say we should be able to withstand long hours in the sun everyday if we're on a natural diet. Maybe that's true IF...IF.... IF!!! we follow a 100% raw and natural diet but I certainly haven't done that for the majority of my life so maybe what they say is true (???)

So what you believe is, that once a cell is damaged, it can't heal itself, correct? You may be right, but I can't believe that just yet. I also believe that some cancer patients can heal themselves if they radically change their diet/lifestyle. This isn't always the case of course, but I do believe it can happen. I was watching a show on Sid and Marty Krofft the other night and Sid came down with melanoma and he drank alot of wheat grass and the melanoma went away. I know it could have gone away without the wheatgrass but something made it disappear.

You can read testimonials on the net (or in books) from people who have had cancer that beat it thru fasting or other various " health nut " tactics. If this thing on my face and the thing on your head IS cancerous, that certainly doesn't mean it's the end of our world. I think people like us have to be extra careful with what we put in our bodies but that isn't such a bad thing when it comes to not wanting to die!

In other words.... THERE IS HOPE! Guest guest
Last year, I had a spot on my face, about the size of a B B, very small. I don't go to doctors (obviously), but a friend of mine who had skin cancer said it was cancer. It begain growing and grew to the size of a pencil erraser. Now it is gone! I guess it has been gone about 3 months.

Ann Wigmore talked about an experiment that was done, They grew cancer cells in a cooked food culture, and they grew and thrived. In a raw food culture, they died.

Doug
