Guest guest
Happy New Year to all my RAW friends!

Sorry I have not contributed to the club much this past year. I miss doing that but I can see the club has been in excellent hands with the likes of Kauguy, Philcovers, LadyBugg, Mallon, Shortus, Czechrawman, and others. Your posts are informative and interesting and I’m sure many appreciate the time you spend sharing your raw food experiences and thoughts. I certainly do. I receive the club posts via email and there were several topics I wanted to comment on but didn’t for one reason or another. Sometimes I just had a problem logging into and the time pasted by.

My son just turned 3 right before Christmas and I enjoy him immensely. He’s at the age where he wants to play “snake”, “crab” and get “elephant rides” from me every evening so it’s a good thing I’m physically able to do it. I don’t think I would be if I had continued to follow the S.A.D. I’m trying to spend as much time with him as possible because I know it is very important to do so. We do a lot of reading and go out to play or to the stores often. Last night we went out sledding in the park because there is over a foot of the white stuff on the ground here. So I’m trying to be a good dad and I know I’ll never regret spending this time with him. I’m sure many of you out there will agree with me on that one.

I’m still in the 80-90% raw food camp but I tip my hat to the several people here who have maintained 100% raw. That’s quite an accomplishment and perhaps I’ll get there myself this year. My focus and interest this past year has been on Natural Hygiene. I’ve collected a sizable Natural Hygiene library and read as much as time allows. Hopefully I’ll start a certification program this year. Now I’ve read that the Natural Hygiene diet and raw food diet are not the same but I don’t see a problem with maintaining Natural Hygiene principles and eating more or exclusively raw foods. It works for me and I think there are just too many benefits to a Natural Hygiene lifestyle not to put them into practice.

Best regards for the New Year to all!

-OrionsDad
