Guest guest
Oh I dunno about that. All the pictures of Eskimos I've ever seen were overweight and had rotten teeth. My bro said he read where they don't have a very long life span and they do have heart disease. I didn't read the article but that's what he claims it said.

Raven, what do you mean by " digestive enzymes " in this sentence??

" So if we eat small amounts of organic cooked meat (including foul and fish) with digestive enzymes, "

Do you mean a supplement of some sort? That isn't very natural to have to swallow a pill in order to help your food digest. Meat isn't what our bodies are designed to break down. Kauguy said it best in his post. We aren't at all like carnivores. Our entire physiology is vastly different from theirs.

But I will say this. Eating small amounts of meat certainly won't kill us but as far as health goes, I wouldn't say we benefit from it. We may benefit psychologically from it becuase it tastes good to some us and may offer mental gratification, but it won't make us healthier. That't the way I see it anyway :-)

Hey, remember this. You don't have to go 100% raw in order to benefit. Some people find 100% to be too rgimented and they end up going overboard the other way. Find a comfortable level for your body. If you feel you can go 95% or higher, than do so but I wouldn't push it if you feel it's too hard. Some people (like me) do best with eating 100% raw but only 98% of the time, if that makes sense. Just do the best you can do. Good luck!
