Guest guest
Could someone explain slow foods please? According to one person in an earlier message it includes raw meat. Meat is not slow, or at least it wasn't slow before it was killed. And meat has to pass through a digestive systyem FAST that's why humans shouldn't eat meat our digestive systems are too long. We need to eat foods that take several stages in digestion. That excludes meat. Chris
Guest guest
Dear Chris,

It is called the Slow Food Movement because it is a protest against Fast Food.

It may be a surprise, but some raw fooders eat very small amounts of fish or meat.

I respect those who eat no meat or fish because of metaphysical beliefs, just as I think we can respect those secular raw fooders who eat raw food for good health.

When I invite friends for dinner, I prepare what they like. Most like cooked food. I think it is more important to make friends than insist on a religious belief.

Victor.
