Gerson is renowned for using organic, raw, vegan

diets rich with organic carrot juice to help ill

patients heal who have cancer and other serious illnesses.

The treatment is also combined with use of a few

other items including an iodine rich beverage to

stimulate the immune system.<br><br>The idea is that the

body needs to detox and is constantly being bombarded

by toxins through a normal diet. Every time we

consume something the body must detoxify the blood and it

loads down the liver if there are lot of toxins. It

therefore impairs the immune system. Staying on a raw

organic diet cuts the load on the liver to detox while

providing the nutrients the body needs to have energy to

heal. As the body heals it will detox itself naturally

without any other stimulation. The problem with cancer

treatments in conventional care is that while it helps the

cancer it damages the patients' overall health and

impairs their well being.<br><br>Gerson trained his

daughter Charlotte who carries on his work, whom I had the

opportunity to speak with briefly when they began to offer

their training program. They in fact train

professionals now and have two clinics, one in Mexico and one

in the United States. <br><br>While I am healthy,

energetic and disease free, if I ever became seriously ill,

I would check myself into one of their clinics

early in the game before ever considering conventional

western medical care. This of course would be

inappropropriate for a serious injury as they don't treat

injuries, but they have been known to treat terminal and

serious illnesses successfully when the cause has to do

with immune system chemistry. <br><br>I have had

excellent experiences putting injured people including

myself on raw organic foods diets. Healing is much

faster and pain is curtailed. I'm not exactly sure why,

just know that is the end
