Guest guest Posted April 25, 2000 Report Share Posted April 25, 2000 the milk is pasteurized (heated to kill potentially harmful bacteria) then cultures are added which are live/raw foods. So it is a blend.<br><br>Dairies cannot make yogurt from raw milk due to the risks.<br><br>While I do consume raw dairy (goat cheese, cow butter, goat milk), since milk is warmed to make yogurt to grow the cultures, it isn't made from raw milk.
