Well I didn't get any complaints about my banana

rant, so I decided to try another fruit, Coffee.(did he

say coffee) Yep, Coffee is a fruit. The Coffee bean,

which really isn't a been at all, comes inside a berry

a little smaller than a cherry. In fact they are

called cherries.
Did you ever notice when meat

eaters taste some exotic flesh they usually say it

tastes like chicken. Frog legs taste like chicken,

rattlesnake tastes like chicken, any undiscribable taste,

tastes like chicken. It goes somthing like this; " Yeah

there I was, stranded in the Malairian Jungle with

nothing to eat but the one eyed razor-backed mongolian

Jungle snake " (what did it taste like) " remarkably like

chicken " .
Well we don't have that luxury its hard to find a

fruit that tastes like chicken. But coffee cherries

have a very undiscribable taste, but there is a slight

taste of coffee. They seem to be non toxic, in fact

somewhere down in South America there is a little weasel

looking animal that lives on coffee cherries and people

follow them around picking through the poop collecting

the expelled beens. This weasel poop coffee sells for

over $400 per pound.(serious, no joke) The cherries

don't taste good enough that you would sit down and eat

a handfull of them, but at least we don't have to

give up coffee. When tourist take a tour of Hawaii

,the Big Island, they usually stop at a coffee farm

where they are encouraged to taste the coffee cherries.

Then they look at each other and say; " hmm tasts like

chicken " .

Doug
