Guest guest
Well, you should be. It's the most completely natural way to eat. Many believe it is the next logical step from standard hygienic eating. Some hygienic doctors call it simply " sequential eating " . " Evox " made a posting here about instinctive eating, and I thought that for some who don't know what that is, who might also be committed vegans, I thought you might like to know that for Evox, and the other person he mentioned, Zephyr, it also includes eating raw meat as well. I am posting this in case some person might be thinking of ordering Zephyr's book , not knowing that his book contains a graphic description of him chasing down a chicken, killing it with a garden hoe, then ripping into it with his teeth for an absolutely gorey feeding frenzy. Now I'm not saying people should not read this book. It does have important information in it, such as just how a person can regain their natural instinct for foods. But some people may not want to read the other stuff about killing chickens. I think Zephyr has some VERY important things to teach about the principles of instinctive eating, that can only help a raw foodist to be more healthy, but I do not believe, as do many " instinctos " (meat-eating instinctive raw eaters), that meat-eating is necessary. Principles of instinctive eating can be applied to a completely vegan raw diet. That's what I do. I don't make recipes. I don't have set meal times. I just eat what my senses like, when they like it. I am healthier for it, too. And just so people know, I have no intention of knocking Evox. I know Evox. I met him here in Portland Oregon before he became a raw foodist. Evox, or last I spoke to him, eats raw meat. I don't. So we don't agree when it comes to this one point. But Evox is a creative, courageous person, and I was pleasantly surprized to see my old friend, who I haven't seen for so very long, posting here. Evox, if you see this, hey! This is Habib!
