Guest guest
FUDE: Raw-Foodist propaganda term for the junk everybody else eats. All the old people you see with ugly sagging flesh are FUDE-victims, their lifespans halved. FUDE addiction is the indispensible prerequisite for all the subsequent addictions: tobacco, alchohol, opiates, coke, speed, etc. I pity the hapless infants the most, the way they cry when they are " hungry " (i.e., undergoing painful FUDE-withdrawals, even from their FUDE-denatured mother's milk).
I didn't realize this until recently, when at a wedding reception (two months into 100% raw), I tried some champagne and nearly spit it out at the strength of the industrial-poison sensation of revulsion in my mouth. All my cells gave a kindergarten-chorus of " Yuck! " Another craving long gone. Its so nice to be past all that. I wish the whole world already was.
In that moment I knew that the counterfeit good-feeling that alchohol used to do for me (i.e., euphoria, as distinct from its dizzying effects on balance) was just a simulation of how I now feel all the time. All those addicts are really trying to do is feel like they would on 100% raw.
Guest guest
I hate to agree with anyone but he's right, FUDE is the mother of all addictions.
And what is so insidious is that it is normal.
A great deal of our lives are in response to withdrawal symptoms from FUDE.
Imagine what this does to our minds.

However the greatest difficulty might be withdrawing from normality. After all, most want to belong more than they want to be free.

But we want to be free from FUDE!

And in the Raw Food Club, freedom from FUDE is normal. We create our own normality.
