want to tell you about something that I think

is very strange and I’d like to know if anyone else

has experienced it.

About a month ago I

started working out very hard with dumbbells and doing

crunches and push-ups. After about 2 weeks I woke up one

morning and realized that my body was not the least bit

sore. NOTHING! Now I lifted for about 8 years in high

school and college and I remember that I HAD to rest at

least 1 day between heavy workouts. In later years at

the gym I found that I had to rest at least 3-4 days

because my muscles were so tight at times that I couldn’t

even straighten out my arms all the way. I think some

of you know what I am talking about.

Now

either I don’t have ANY muscles left after this raw food

diet in which case I will never feel any pain OR the

muscles I do have are not as toxic as they were before

and they are allowing me to lift without the

slightest pain. I’m telling you that I am doing push-ups to

the point of exhaustion several times a day and those

" safe " sit-ups all day long and I don’t have any pain.

Nada, zip. Like I didn’t do a thing.

Now I’m

not complaining. I think it is wonderful. I’m just

curious. If there are any other raw food weightlifters out

there who can verify this for me I’d like to hear from

you. The problem is that the weightlifters I know are

all doing the " power protein " drink thing and they

don’t know what I’m talking about.

-OrionsDad

I've had similar experiences with weight lifting.

I get much less sore from my workouts since going

100% raw. Though I still get a little sore. It may be

that we are producing less lactic acid.

(Reply

to an old message. I'm looking through some of the

older messages.)

Roger
