ello, I'm OrionsDad. I've been interested in

good health for the last 20 years but it has only been

recently that I have found out about the importance of

eating lots of raw food in my daily diet.

Raw

foods contain vitamins, minerals and ENZYMES. Enzymes

are involved in EVERY function in your body and are

extremely important to you if you want to stay healthy.

They are the catalysts for getting things done.

Without enzymes nothing happens. Even thinking requires

enzymes! Our bodies make enzymes and enzymes are in the

foods we eat. Each food item contains enzymes needed by

the body to digest that specific type of food. That

means our bodies don't have to work so hard to digest

what we consume. Problem is COOKING DESTROYS THE

ENZYMES in the food as does commercial food processing.

When we eat enzyme deficient cooked food our body has

to draw on it's own limited interal enzyme reserve.

When we eat cooked food our body has to stop making

" metabolic " enzymes and start making " digestive " enzymes to

digest all that cooked food we just consumed. Making

" digestive " enzymes places a very big burden on our bodies.

That coupled with the reduced number of " metabolic "

enzymes is what contributes to the disease process in our

body. It is far better to eat foods in their raw state

allowing the food enzymes to digest the food and to allow

our bodies to make to focus on the other enzymes it

needs to stay healthy.
