Guest guest
efore I tell you how I did let me first say hello to jeeeun2 and dcoops. Welcome and I hope you learn some new things and share whenever you can. I think you came to the right place to have better health!

Also, I see that moved our club from the Health to the Home and Family catagory under the topic " Food and Drink " . Well I don't really think we belong there... we are right between " people who smoke pot " and " people who love lard " . Nope, I just don't think so. We are strickly talking HEALTH here and even though we are RAW FOOD only HEALTH minded people are going to be interested in us and HEALTH is where they will be looking for us. Agree? Maybe I need to change the club name to RAW FOOD HEALTH? So I'm writing a letter to someone and try to get us moved back under HEALTH.

I was on vacation for 3 days and I'm sad to report that I was not able to maintain my 80% raw food diet. Not even close. We stayed at a bed & breakfast and I just had what they served me... cooked. Usually I would just have water and fruit. We also ate out and I had fish, salad and potato. Not horrible but not great. The only thing I feel a little bit good about is that we bought some bananas and apples at a farm stand along the way.. but it wasn't organic. So there you have it... the typical " unprepared " traveler. How did I feel you ask? Terrible! Especially the night I got home. I felt I had a rock in my stomach and it was very uncomfortable. I could just taste the acidity in my mouth. I swore I would never do that again if I can help it. I couldn't wait until the next day to start so I could drink lots of water, exercise and start the cleansing process. The only thing I can think of that's good about an experience like this is that you realize how much better you feel on raw food than cooked. Cooked food makes my feel heavier, less energenic and older.

So I'm glad to be back home where I can juice and have my raw food. Next time I'm going to be better " prepared " .
