Guest guest
Friday December 2, 2005 - The Star Dog harassed daily by neighbours I HAVE a two-year-old dog, a Labrador. It is beautiful and good-natured. It allows strangers to pat it and is great around children. However, the dog has been harassed nearly every day by my neighbours. Thankfully, they live not directly beside my house but in some houses at the back. Our houses are separated by a back lane. They are a group of bachelors who ride motorcycles, sing in the middle of the night and smoke until the wee hours of the morning. I can live with that. However, they also whistle and bark at my dog for no apparent reason! They have also thrown stones at it. My dog has never been let out of the house without a chain and under supervision. In fact, it acts with more grace and tolerance than those who disturb it. Not all dogs attack for no reason. Some have very good reasons. If only they could talk, they would tell you and the world. EXASPERATED, Kuala Lumpur.
