WILD LIFE ON DECLINE IN PAKISTAN

Evidently it is true that in Pakistan none ever cared even at state level

about killing of animals and birds or on being extinction of rare species in

Pakistan soil like birds, quadruped, sea life, firefly, butterflies etc.

Moreover the departments whose sole responsibility rests with safe keeping,

coverage of check up and medical treatment did not pay any attention,

besides this these departments started extending every opportunity for

killing them and selling after catching them their leather after their own

resources. Such trend had caused sure possibility of extinction of some rare

species of animals and birds in Pakistan. The animals like ELEPHANT, LION,

TIGER, LEOPARD, BABOON, CHIMPANZEE, OSTRICH, RHINOCEROS, GIRAFFE, ZEBRA,

STAG are now to be seen or found in zoological garden in Pakistan. And rest

of the animals like CAMEL, OXEN, HEIFER, LAMB, COW, BUFFALO, GOAT, SHEEP,

DEER, STAGE, BLUE COW, CHITAL, RABBIT, PHEASANT, PARTRIDGE, QUAIL, RED

LEGGED PARTRIDGE, DUCKS, CRANE, PLOVER, SPARROW, CHICKEN, PIGEON, GEESE,

SWAN etc. etc. whom we eat during morning, noon, evening and night hours.

Whereas, HAWK, EAGLE, FALCON, OWL, PARROT, PEACOCK are caught officially and

unofficially to sell to interested Arabian Princes and foreigners very

costly, even these princes hunted the animals and birds like CRANE, GEESE,

RED LEGGED PARTRIDGE, FOX, JACKAL, WOLF, PIGS, DEER, STAG and other so many

beautiful wild life at a very large scale. Its also a ratiocination that

these specious are near to extinct in Pakistan.

Who through them, prey upon rare birds and small, small animals. These

people had become so greedy, cured and cold-hearted that they have started

poisoning relevant feed in order to catch them on being unconscious instead

of killing by fire or by the application of respective nets. They are

preying upon fish, exploding explosive in sea and rivers and due to such way

of preying sea life had caused almost extinction, excluding such way of

preying upon, spraying of pesticides, medicine on agricultural land crops

and fruit gardens, had caused killing of unlimited varieties of birds on

pretext of weeding out poisonous pesticides and thus a lot of quadrupeds are

dying in routine way be feeding on green leaves and grass unluckily.

In addition to that in some parts of Pakistan like Thar, Chaulistan, Sindh,

Baluchistan a large number of animals and birds die due to hard weather

conditions and lacking of water that prevailed there. The most probable

factor of dying in Pakistan. On the other hand, cutting down a large portion

of woodland. The ratio of cutting down of woods is thousand times greater

than sowing new ones. The natural breeding places are the environment

subject to destruction due to erasing natural woods and constructing of new

cities and adjoining colonies. Therefore the animals are rapidly depriving

away with their living places / dens and thus their process of preservation

and security is appearing shorter. The process of production and development

had caused with the human population growth graph is on increase. The

obvious reasons of causality of animals in Pakistan are that no reasonable

hospital for animal exist and neither the medicine for prevention and safety

and treatment are manufactured nor imported. Exclusive programs are arranged

for bitter fight, which are attended and witnessed by Government nominees,

landlords, Chaudaries, and headmen etc. etc. General fights are arranged

between oxen vs oxen and also camels, rams, dogs, bulls and dogs vs bears.

Mounting number of dogs to a single tied bear. Just imagine the height of

cruelty that the innocent birds like that QUAIL, NIGHTINGALE, and COCKS are

fought together keeping them hungry for a day to make them much emotional

and cruel just for the fun and interest. Those birds losing fight and hurts

are slaughters at the spot. In Pakistan, the animals are preyed, making them

homeless, those who lost lives after cruel fight and those who lost lives

after cruel fight and those who are used loading and transportation have to

undergo much hardships and faced untold rough time especially during hot

weather they sometimes met with death because they have to drag over loads

carts during rough and extreme weather. In the past they were driven against

less load as compare to today and the roads were mostly covered with big

green shady trees where availability of water was not a problem as is today.

A large number of animals are died now a day because no such facilities like

water and shade of tree is available. No Putative step ever takes by the

department for anticruelty of animal against untoward treatment even by

people organizations. So the government had paid no attention for welfare

and for well keeping. Despite during peoples get together parties they are

slaughtered in an increased ratio, treating them some vegetable and some

fruit commodity. On government level, no interest has been shown for

checking routine matters and general performance or to known there demands

and requirements of the related departments. No seminars and talk show have

been ever held in order to make alive to general people for safety

restoration and well being of wild life.
