Guest guest
Dear All, Before the last AfA Conference I asked if anyone was willing to take over Asian Animal Protection Network. Several people were kind enough to encourage me to continue. BUT, apart from the fact that I am now old and would like to hand over while I still can, I do believe that the job should be done by an Asian. Whoever took over would have complete liberty - I would be there to advise if asked, but I would not seek to exercise any control. AAPN is currently a Hong Kong based organisation registered with the Hong Kong Government - but it could be moved anywhere. It has no assets and no liabilities. The job requires one or two hours a day and a basic understanding of animal rights and welfare issues. There are two parts to the job: maintaining - and when time permits, improving - the website; and moderating this news and discussion group. The work could be split or rotated between members of a committee. Anyone interested, please contact me at: john John.
