PAWS ambulance, staff & volunteers worked day & night to help stray & wild animals to get back in their normal health & habitat. The call were varies from snakes entered in bungalow to accident victim dog lying on road, somewhere Turtle thrown from 3rd floor to monkey roaming with injured hand. At some place pet abandoned by owner & tied to dustbin & somewhere dog attacked by mad person by chopper. The Work never Stops... Below is the chart of rescue work from April 2005 to September 2005 Total Animals Helped by PAWS Dombivli: 551 (6 Months) STRAY CASES ATTENDED: - Pups Treated - 23 Cats Treated - 1 Kitten Treated - 1 Pigeon Rescued - 22 Surgery - 1 Road Side Dogs Treated - 32 STRAY ANIMALS RESCUED BY PAWS & HELPED AT IDA HOSPITAL:- Dogs Hospitalized at IDA Center Deonar - 47 Cancer Dog Operated at IDA - 5 Dogs Sterilized at IDA - 22 Cats Sterilized at IDA - 2 ANIMALS RESCUED BY PAWS & HOSPITALISED AT THANE SPCA HOSPITAL:- Kitten - 2 Dogs - 25 Pups - 3 Rabbits - 3 Donkey - 3 Calf - 3 Pet (Pom) - 1 Sparrow - 1 Crow - 1 Monkey - 5 HEALTH & VACCINATION CAMPS ORGNISAED BY PAWS: 6 Vaccinations Camps for Stray Dog & Cats & 1 Vaccination camp for Donkeys Total Dogs & Cats Vaccinated against rabies : 296 Separate Vaccines : 2 Total Donkeys Vaccinated in Camps : 14 Total injured dogs treated in Vaccination Camp : 3 TOTAL ANIMAL HELPED BY PAWS THANE : 551 ……………………………………………………………………………………………… PAWS Need's your kind support ! 1) Become a Volunteer: You can become our volunteer help us in treating animals on roads, attend vaccination camps & educational programs, help us fundraising & spreading the word!
