Guest guest
JAPAN DOLPHIN DAY: UPDATE 12 Just got word that ABC PrimeTime Live will cover Japan Dolphin Day for a larger piece they are doing. Their two part story story is about the annual dolphin slaughter in Japan and about the international traffic in captive dolphins. Air date to be announced. Since ABC News has studios in New York City and in London, they will have a film crew in these two cities. Please remember to videotape the demo in your city and send us a SHORT version. We will forward it on to ABC PrimeTime in New York. Posters/Flyers are now available at www.savetaijidolphins.org We have " PRINT optimized " and " PRESS optimized " PDF versions of the flyer at this website. Just click on the desired version and download. The " print optimized " version is used for laser printing. The " press optimized " PDF is for offset printing. By the way, the artwork we are using for the Poster/Flyer is the official Japanese life-saving flag. We just added a dolphin in the middle of their flag. ( " Life-saving " -- " dolphin. " Get it?) We are starting to get the word out in Japan. Check it out here: http://ikjeld.com Cetacean Society International has photos that can be e-mailed to anyone who still needs them for the October 8th event. Contact Bill Rossiter at rossitercsi Sea Shepherd Conservation Society also has photos available. Contact Connie Domenech at connie These photos are to be used for the Japan Dolphin Day ONLY. One time use. They are not to be published without the owners' permission for any other occasion. Please remember to credit the images properly. Only 10 short days to Japan Dolphin Day. Please contact every man, woman and child on the planet and ask them to SHOW UP in front of their local Japanese Embassy or Consulate Generals office. We are only going to get one shot at this. (this year) Lets do it right! Dolphin Day has been cancelled in Switzerland and German due to a lack of interest. Sorry to report we still can't find anyone willing to protest the Japanese embassy in these two countries on October 8th. Thanks, Ric
