Pls.help --dog massacre in Guanghzou China

Dear all,

 

The government of Guangzhou city started dog massacre

on the morning of Sep. 22 for rabies control.

 

Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong province,

which is notorious for the dog and cat eating and the

origin of SARS. The government charges RMB 10,000 for

a dog license per year with the excuse that a high fee

might force the pet owner to raise the dog legally.

Since last year, some cases of human infection of

rabies happened in the suburban area. The gov.

stressed on the rabies control since the beginning of

this year. They didn't promote rabies vaccination but

dog killing.

 

Pls. write a letter to the People's congress of

Guangzhou at

rdxf

to protest against the brutal action and explain that

vaccination is the most effective way in rabies

control. Also tell them dog eating might transmit the

virus to humanbeing.
