Guest guest
Hello Padma, Sure they will stop but for a while. They will use various means to kill the dogs and tell the court that they did not. It is very important that you have some evidences atleast while burial if not better killing. They will use police protection and that is part of the whole exercise. Now is to pursue the issue at the court. I am sure the court will ask them to come out with the solution for dog control population and that is when you all step in to prove the ABC is the best. And please get something in writing. A court order also. Another point how many dog catchers are they employing and how much do they pay. Can you please the dog catchers with more compensation that they avoid this and also give them some employment with more money and comfort. Maybe as animal helpers. Talk to them and to their wives and explain that what they are doing is evil and they will be punished by so and so etc., etc., Bring them to your side. If these things do not happen serve them just lawyer' s notice. Coercion. Finally bringing pressure all around. This has worked. Warm regards, Pradeep. May be they just thought, that, if they stop now, our court-appeal will be dismissed, but I don't think they can get away with that. Let's do what we can can, that this terror will nort repeat. Today Rohini told me, that yetserday they had a police-officer in the vehicle for protection because day before yesterday a man called Podi-Ayya has beaten up the catchers when they came to the market ...and they went away without having taken any dogs. One person, who expressed what all feel, but no one else had the courage to do. I will try to find him next time I go to the market and worship him with all my heart.
