Guest guest
Dear Honorable Minister for Health, It is with deep regret I inform and would like your immediate and urgent positive and the best decision that street dogs population management is possible only through adopting The ANimal Birth Control and ANti Rabies vaccination. The Municipal Vet from Kandy by adopting harsh, cruel and illegal methods is going against the very ecological cycle and the environment. We have achieved good success with this kind of programme and we were able to convince the authorities the right method to deal with a problem. Dogs have no boundaries and hence it is utterly backward to think the solution lies in killing as new dogs replace the old ones and they are very new to the community also. In the land of Buddhism this sort of activities looks very odd and out of place. We are all creatures of the same atmosphere contributing immensely to the environment and each has a role to play and more with the species. It becomes our responsibilities to do the rational thing. By adopting these illegal killing of stray dogs , the Municipal Vet from Kandy is jeopardising the entire efforts being done by many international organisations to set in place the dog problems especially after the Tsunami effects and above all there is immense cooperation from the entire human population. And it is a stark reminder that the neuter / spay programme is directly related to human health salvation though the problem lies with the human expansions and the terribe open garbage system. In this scenario the best method for all would be the spay/neuter programme and the Goverenment would save huge amounts in the nearlongterm by adopting this project. Fail to understand that when all agrees to this project then why should the kandy vet have the authority to continue the horribe killings. Sorry to interfere in your country but does not stop me to point out the real facts as a human being. Hoping you will see the real issues and do the needful at the earliest. Warm regards, Pradeep Kumar Nath, Hon.President/Founder, Visakha SPCA, Andhra Pradesh, India. email vspcadeep web : www:visakhaspca.org Start your day with - make it your home page
