Park Jong-cheon, a 54-year-old farmer, spread 20 kilograms of tigers' dung that the zoo provided for free on sweet potato fields at his farm, suspecting that wild boars might be afraid of the smell of such a ferocious animal as a tiger. The experiment succeeded, and for the last six days, wild boars have avoided his farm. Other residents in his village also spread tigers' dung on their cornfields and are awaiting the result. A veterinarian at the zoo said, " Wild boars might have felt threatened by the smell of the dung, which is used by another animal to mark its territorial claim.
