Guest guest
Update on Electrocution of dogs in Manila Pound: As of 3:15 this afternoon, the Chairman of the Committee on Animal Welfare, Bureau of Animal Industries (CAW-BAI) revoked the City of Manila's Permit to Experiment (Electrocution) immediately and indefinitely. There was also the majority decision never to grant a permit for electrocution, whether as an experiment or as a solution to control overpopulation for any animal. Members of PAWS (Philippine Animal Welfare Society) , CARA (Compassion and Responsiblities for Animals) were present lobbying against the inhumane and cruel animal treatment.
