The details of rescue work published in Book. # NGO's website KARMAYOG made 'PAWS - Non-Profit for the Month of March', A first NGO in Animal Welfare to receive such support. # PAWS Thane Unit & Bombay Unit rescues-treats approximately 1100 distressed animals every year, which is higher than any group in thane district. # PAWS Dombivli runs unique Ambulance service since 2001 in district of Thane, which is donated by Mr. Anil Kataria of Ahmadnagar SPCA. # PAWS is successful to rescue Lions & Tigers from Circus with the help of other NGO’s. # PAWS Mumbai has successfully closed down illegal slaughterhouse in Bhandup area. # PAWS Dombivli is the only charity in Thane District, which organizes maximum nos. of Vaccination Camps & Treatment camps for all sorts of animals like Horses used in Carts, Donkeys used in civil works, Bullocks used in Carts, Stray Dogs & cats. # PAWS constant raids on snake charmers, bird sellers stopped illegal trafficking of wild reptiles & birds. .....................................................................
