Guest guest
Hi again - I'm curious if anyone knows of any organizations that focus on the rescue of snow monkeys??? I'm trying to come up with options for the snow monkey here in Okinawa that needs help. We think the man who owns the monkey might be willing to sell it (getting him to part with it for free sounds like it is not a possibility). I'm in an ethical dilemma, because I am NO fan of our local zoo - and am active with Z.A.P. (Zoo Action Project) and their battle to bring attention to the deplorable conditions at the zoo. However, the zoo sounds like it would be better than what the monkey is presently being kept in. It's like being between a rock and a hard place. I am NOT a wildlife expert, nor am I a seasoned animal welfare activist. Perhaps someone out there could guide me on this one? Thank You, ~Kim Petersen voices4animals - Okinawa voices4animals.com
