Guest guest Posted May 9, 2005 Report Share Posted May 9, 2005 A magician OP sharma of Kanpur was performing animals like elephant,pigeons,Rabittand dogs in his shows,without registration for performance of animals with Animal welfare Board of India. On objection from Undersigned District administration of Ludhiana has stopped the performances of animals.Secretary AWBI(Ministry of Environment and Forests has also written to District Collector to stop the illegal Animal performances.The show was to be inaugurated on 6th May 2005 and He had to make an elephant disappear in Show.Due to Ban he used a Motorbike in place of Elephant.
