WOMEN, ARISE AGAINST PATRIARCHAL ABUSE OF ANIMALS

 

 

It is evident to us that there is something basically wrong with the

so-called Christian attitude toward animals and nature. First of

all, Christianity as we know it is Patriarchal Christianity, and

does not represent the message of Jesus Christ properly and

adequately. Jesus Christ loved animals, nature, and women. This is

proof that he was Matriarchal and closer to the Eastern traditions.

Jesus said, " Whatever you do to the least of these you do to me. " He

also defended women that the Rabbis were going to stone, but he

cursed the Rabbis for their own sins. Jesus was against patriarchal

attitudes towards the poor, the weak, and women. In Yoga, there is

a tenent called " Equality of Consciousness " . Within this it says

that God loves all life equally (This is hard to understand, but by

special revelation God opened the mind of Rasa's and showed her what

this meant.)

 

 

Here is what is wrong with Patriarchal thinking, which includes

Christianity as we know it. The male leaders say both in Catholicism

and Protestantism, that we humans are made in the image and likeness

of God; but that animals are not made in the image and likeness of

God and that animals do not have souls. All life is made by God, and

God lives within all life. We were once at a prayer group of a

Protestant Church, and asked to pray for animals but we were

denied....typical. If you talk about women's rights in a Catholic

group, you would be looked upon as if you were the devil. Feminism

is a dirty word. Animal rights to them are irrelevant. Ecology to

them is only relevant to them if they are forced to drink dirty

water.

 

 

Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin, MotherGod, as well as the Holy

Spirit want us to right the wrongs of Patriarchy. This site is an

answer to that mission. Yogi's and Buddhists look upon nature and

they see God. This is rightous thinking. Nature is Mother Nature,

the Earth is Her footstool. She takes pleasure in the Earth and all

that is on it. She cannot stand us destroying species; moving

roughshod over life, pushing it out of our way, trampling it,

killing it, and polluting it. Where did we ever receive the right to

destroy life willy-nilly? When men build housing projects or

remodel, they knock down bird's nests with babies in them as if they

didn't matter. When men fish they catch hundreds or thousands of

species they can't use, and often destroy them. Innocent animals

such as monkeys and dogs are put into satellites. I saw a picture of

a monkey and a nurse with a stiff grim face was sewing the animal's

skin with a needle and thread to put it into a wired-up chair, in a

satellite.

 

 

Are all of these things necessary? If humans want to volunteer for

experiments and space travel, let them do it. But an animal has not

told you it wants to be experimented on, or wired-up, and you have

no right to force it to do so. We cannot begin to describe the

degree of evil employed in animal experimentation. The most

sorrowful part of animal experimentation is that most of these tests

are completely unnecessary and repetitive. Student of psychiatry,

biology, medicine, veterinary science, and other disciplines are

forces as a part of their training to conduct experiments on

animals. If the public knew the sort of experiments that go on in

the average university, they would weep.

 

You take a young mind, and you tell him or her that they have to

produce certain experiments to pass their course to me is the same

as telling people to experiment on those in concentration camps.

People have to turn insensitive, calloused, unfeeling, and

abstracted from the pain of others. How can these people live with

themselves, and enjoy their comfortable lives while keeping innocent

animals in bondage and/or captivity, committing unspeakable acts to

these animals' bodies, and even leaving them in restraints for weeks

at a time? These people then go home and expect a comfortable

domestic life, good food & health, happy relationships, pleasant

sexual experiences, and the other joys of life, and somehow build a

wall between themselves and the innocent creature they are torturing.

 

We read a book about animal experimenters. One young man bought a

baby monkey and gave it a fur covered robot " monkey mother " . Every

time the baby embraced its mother it received electric shocks.

Having no parent, love, or nurturing, the baby monkey kept going

back to the fake mother in spite of the electric shocks. Do you need

to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out? This one man abused

this monkey to gain rewards and a degree. In turn he would gain a

better life, and a better job. We read an article in PETA of a young

veterinarian. They got a sweet dog from a shelter, then they broke

it's legs, then mended them back. Every day they went into the lab,

the dog wagged it's tails with joy. But after dozens of other

experiments, the dog stopped wagging it's tail when they arrived. It

was worn out from the trauma, the pain and the suffering.

Mercifully, it finally died. There is a Heaven for that dog, and

there is a Hell waiting for unrepentant researchers. We received a

mailing from In Defense of Animals (131 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA

94941) about Stephen Lisberger and the experiments that he conducted

at U.C -San Francisco.

 

 

On Mr. Lisberger's website he boasts about his good life, and his

hobbies. Meanwhile, the monkeys that he experimented on sat in cold

cages with metal and electrodes surgically implanted and/or cemented

into their skulls, often dehydrated to keep them motivated to

perform when the researchers wanted them to for " juice rewards " .

When you want to donate to groups who are helping animals, be

extremely careful because there are low-lives who are using animal-

rights for their own personal gain. There is a woman we heard of who

earns $300,000 from a mailing list who does ablsolutely zilch for

animals. Some that we know of who are excellent are: PETA, and

Animal People (PO Box 960, Cinton, WA 98263-0960). Animal People

will clue you into what organizations are sincere, and those who

aren't.

 

 

 

ABOUT BEING VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN

 

 

You could do yourself a favor by decreasing your meat intake. No

animal will have to die for you to live, and you will live longer.

Studies have shown without a shadow of a doubt that vegetarians live

longer, and vegans live even longer than vegetarians. (Vegans are

people that refrain from consuming milk products, eggs, fish, and

the like). He recommends vegetarianism totally....Howard Lyman who

was sued along with Oprah Winfrey by the Meat Consortium studied the

effects of meat-eating and claims that much of what we call

Alzheimer's Disease come from eating meat. He is the one that

convinced us to go back to vegetarianism in 1998.

 

We know that it is extremely difficult in our day, age, and culture

to refrain from meat eating. However, some restraint could be

applied. Americans are eating large quantities of meat daily. In

Europe where my ancestors come from, there was a lot less meat

eaten. We grew up with meat averaging once/week. American's are

getting bigger & bigger, and it is fat. Take a look around you. Once

it was difficult for big women to find clothing. Today, half of all

stores, and half of the sections in department stores are for big

women.
