Guest guest
Irwin helps Tsunami tigers Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin was among businesses giving aid for animals in Indonesia's tsumani-affected areas, Queenslands premier Peter Beattie said today. The aid was helping animals including the endangered Sumatran tiger, of which there are only 200 left in existence. Mr Beattie said poachers were a danger to Sumatran tigers, and members of Aceh Province's anti-poaching team were hit hard by the tsunami. Steve and Terri Irwin, who run Australia Zoo north of Brisbane, offered funds to help the anti poaching team rebuild, Mr Beattie said. End of Article. It should be noted the Irwins donated $1,000,000 to help the elephants of Aceh.
