I wrote so many nice personnal letters to HSI and IFaw inquiring regarding

the relief work and sterilization but no body bothered to reply.They were so

arrogant.

Wecan`t just keep quiet when animals would be in trouble.

As the Government is goingto check on the foreign aid so many NGOs have

become scared.The truth is Most of the Sri lankans and the Disaster

Management centers were not able to find the large numberof hungry stray

dogs as they have mentioned in LA news and others.

They want run down the Sri lankans.

I can`t type the whole article .See for yourself.You can ask someone to scan

the article or you can to Sunday time s and read that .This shows

the IFaw is also planned to do the same .I f Ifaw or any organisation is

honest they don`t have to panic or write statements about honesty .But Sri

lankan Government is going to be strict with the NGOs and they would inquire

about the work.

By the way the heavy rain have killed some of our street dogs in Rajagirya

and most of the areas .

All our Trishaw drivers I travelled with are having terrible flu .Some will

be unable to work.

If you have senses think about the plight of the street dogs with this

terrible weather .

I didn`t critisise the vets work.So don`t try to drift away from the topic .

With support from the International Fund for animals welfare and local

veterinarians ,vet camps have been organised in and around Unawatuna

providiing services free of charge.It` s representative Asoka Dangolla from

vet Faculty of the Peradeniya University said sterillisation programmes are

done using a new techniqueby which a very small incision is made using it

possible to discharge the animal the same day.'
