I'm just passing this along..

This is our newest " campaign " ... not just for kids, but for adults

too. If you know of anyone or any organization that could also help

out, please feel free to copy and send or crosspost.

Thank You!

~Kim

*PS: Not sure I mentioned this, but we found out that Kei is much

younger than we thought she was. She's no spring chicken, however,

her age of 12 is a relief (we had thought she was 14 or 16).

Calling all kids (and adults)!!!

Some of you are familiar with a group I'm volunteering with here in

Okinawa called ZAP.

ZAP is devoted to improving the horrid conditions of our small local

children's zoo. In particular, we are concerned about " Kei " , a

North American Timber Wolf, who has lived her entire life in a small

concrete enclosure, behind plexiglass. With inadequate mental

stimulation, no social interaction with other animals, and a NON-

existant " environment " (she hasn't felt grass beneath her feet since

she was a pup), she needs to be relocated to a sanctuary where she

can live out her final years in peace.

A wonderful Wolf Sanctuary in Colorado, Mission Wolf, has agreed to

take her, however, the zoo had a change of heart, and has decided

that the

" children of Okinawa need to be able to see a real

live wolf. "

We have embarked on a new campaign, and we need as MUCH help as we

can get! It will only take a few minutes of your time! PLEASE HELP!

We need POSTCARDS TO KEI for Christmas & New Year's!!!

If you and your kids (or your neighbor's kids) could PLEASE send a

letter or post card and state that you wish Kei her Freedom For

Christmas and the New Year, please address it to:

Kei the Wolf

3-1-7 2F Iso,

Okinawa, Japan

901-2132

We Need As MANY LETTERS AND POST CARDS AS POSSIBLE, so PLEASE

FORWARD THIS EMAIL!

The cost of a stamp from the U.S. to Okinawa should be approx. .80

cents (3 stamps)!

Can you spend 80 cents on Kei?

THANK YOU!!!!
